your generating station as an approved energy supplier to the grid. Meter testing is necessary for ISO certification.
How much testing will be required depends to a large extent on point of delivery, CT and VT ANSI accuracy class,
and connected burdens. ESI provides all necessary certification services, including:
- CT and VT Burden Tests
- Ratio Correction Tests
- Phase Angle Correction Tests
- Power Transformer Compensation
- Line Loss Compensation
Whether you've decided to keep an existing metering scheme or plan to have a new one installed, our experts
provide full support on the design, installation, and testing of your metering installation. Edison ESI works with
your personnel from conceptual engineering design to final approval and ISO certification. You can be sure your
work will be completed as planned and on schedule.

Edison ESI offers technical solutions and support to energy suppliers beyond approval and certification. Currently,
approved suppliers as well as those with provisional approval may be required to provide proof of compliance with
ISO requirements. ESI has been providing ISO inspections and related metering services for major electric utilities–like
PG&E, Southern California Edison, SDG&E. ESI provides scheduled or on-call services. The following lists
